Does anyone have a code reader? Check engine light came on and need to know what code it's throwing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a code reader, but you can go visit a nearby Kragen and have it read for free

Problem is they dont do it anymore. I went to AutoZone and Kragen, two of them. The Manager at AutoZone said they are the same company as Pep Boys so Pep Boys complained to the "Board" about losing money to a sister company that was doing code checks for free, and that was that. No more free check engine light readings at AutoZone. Dont know why they dont do it at Kragen.

maybe ask them if they have a code reader for rent? they have the tools loan program where you pay to rent it and you get it back when you return the tool

Ive asked about renting a code reader as well they said (Kragen and Autozone) that they dont rent those out. Is there a way to read the code like on the 96-00 Civics using a paper clip?
BTW..Thanks for all the replies. Its been years since Ive been to a meet, might just go to one soon.
