slight rattle under acceleration

Hey guys, its been a while since I posted on here, good to be back. My 02 civic has a slight rattle under acceleration. It's only noticeable (by my bad hearing) when the gas is partially pressed and in 1st or 2nd. It might do it in other gears, but the road noise drowns it out if it does. Sounds kinda like a baby rattle. I can push in the clutch and it stops. You can keep the clutch engaged and let off the throttle and it stops too. It's nothing major I don't think, just annoys me. Any ideas?

maybe the engine mounts are going bad? examine them for cracks inside.

I'll look, but I doubt that's it. I have a polyurathane inserts. Could it be something in the clutch?

Re: slight rattle under acceleration

if it goes away when you push the clutch, its prolly something related to that, throwout bearing is common to make that noise. if its making the noise and you let off the gas, does the noise go away?

Re: slight rattle under acceleration

I thought about that. I don't think that's it because of the nature of the sound (rattling sound instead of a popping sound)
