from radiator cap I think...


So yeah I have a turboed civic. and well it was overheating.. I replaced the thermostat and thought hey that would solve problem which it did.

But here, when i have car on, the Rad fan never turns on at all..... It works if i put the AC on.. but other then that no.

Why is this?


also its leaking collant all over the place from eaither the rad cap or overfill cap. Not really sure.

it's getting super annoying and i need this fixed?

any ideas?


also my whole Rad support is like HOT to the touch.. will burn you from all the heat from the exhaust manifold

It's overflowing because it's over heating. Fix the over heating problem and both symptoms will be solved. It sounds like maybe the relay for the fan went out. I'd either start checking wires, or if you don't know your electrics well, take it to a shop and tell them just what your told us.
