In order to help you should detail some info like what throttle you are using, where you install the MAP sensor, what IAC, etc.

If you are using the stock d17 throttlebody and IAC you will have problems with the idle beacause the y8 manifold is diffrent from the d17 (obvously). The d17 IAC is calibrated for its own manifold shape and the where the port is.

The problem that the y8 manifold flows more air than the d17 manifold and the engine will idle over 1000rpm.

To start fixing the problem you can close the throttlebody turning a screw that is at the side of it. The thing is that the throttle position will change. Honda does not recommend it. They say this calibration bolt is calibrated on the factory.

Other thing you can do is remove your IAC from the throttle, use "marinetek" or other epoxy an close all the IAC port on the throttle. Then drill a smaller port to reduce the air that passes through it.

Other thing is to use an emanage to tune the idle. Retard timing and reduce fuel at 0% throttle.

I use a CRV throttle that have every sensor. The MAP, TPS and IAC plug on the d17 wire harness. Then block the IAC with epoxy, drill a smaller port, e-manage etc.

Also the CRV k24 throttle is 60mm and the type-s and si is 62mm.
