Question about Rims and Tires

I have 15 Inch SIR rims with winter Tires, I am thinking or trading the Rims for a 17 Inch rim with Low Pro Tires.

The Question is that the Low pros seem so low i dont know if the rims will rack my car or not? Compared to my SIRS rims and tires the rims and tires are a tub less them my. So does anyone know if i should trade the rims or get bigger tires?

These ones,

Re: Question about Rims and Tires

17's will fit... Run a 205/40 or 215/40 series tire, you'll have no problems.

225/45 should work too, according to greeen01civic4d who has a sedan and 17's.

Re: Question about Rims and Tires

for all 7thgen 215/45/17 is the perfect size if you go aftermarket rims...If i'm you keep the SIR rims and put some performance tire on it. 195/50/15 that will work perfect...
