i'm considering getting my engine rebuild, but i'm not sure where to take it. i'm living in san diego and very caution to what shop i should take my car. What do you guys suggest? Should i just get the engine rebuild or just buy a new engine (B16/B18)? what's cheaper? this is my daily driver so i cant afford to have this out of commision for a long period of time. can anyone help me out?

you could probably find a rebuilt or good condition used d16 from one of the many honda recyclers in Cali. if it has a b-series swap already, hop on your local tuner forum and search the site sponsors. i'm sure any of them can take care of you.

depends what you want to do. rebuildin to stock is a waste just get a used stock motor. but if your building for power you have options that are budget limited. 1 rebuld ur single cam. or 2 pick up a used B16 or B18 and have a shop build that and install it.
