well, 4 of us(kcari, mkymonkey, johnbt23, xmyzteriousx) met up in the oc and caravan up to the first turnout, where we met up with two other guys(crazybluecivic, kunhohan). then one of the guys(kunohohan) left at the first big fork. after going up a little bit more we noticed that kcari was no where to be found, so we pulled over and waited a little bit. we started to get worried after about 15 min of waiting for him so mkymonkey drove back down looking for him. while we were waiting for them both(mkymonkey, kcari), mickeycivic04 joined up were we were parked. mkymonkey came back up, and told us he couldn't find them at all, so we started going up again. after we ate at newcomb's ranch, another guy(qijian) arrived with his friend(mitsubishi eclipse), but xmyzteriousx and mickeycivic04 had to go home. so we went up a little bit more, then the guy in the eclipse had to go. which only left 4 cars(johnbt23,mkymonkey,crazybluecivic, qijian).

getting back on point, all in all, 9 people showed up today(well short of the 30 people we thought were going) but we didn't let that ruin our day. we still had a great time

after this I'm really considering raising up my car up a little bit - every time theres rough holes in the freeway I'm screwed.

it was pretty fun when my car was responsive... I had such a hella hard time keeping up with you guys when I couldnt go faster than 80 mph..

i really like that beach BBQ idea.

about raising your car: yeah, u should raise it to like 1 finger - 1.5 fingers. when i first saw your car yesterday, i was thinking to myself " damn thats pretty low, u must be regretting it". my drop is a tight 2 fingers all around, and sometimes i rub in the back because of taking turns hard, or going over bumps(bye the way, the 5 needs to be repaved in los angeles county badly, i was constantly being jolted by all those cracks/dips/bumps/patched holes/potholes ). im gonna put some negative camber to fix that, this week. but yeah, just raise it up a little bit, and u should be fine.

while driving up ach, u were keeping up with us, but after a few turns u were no where to be found. that sux your car was being a bitch yesterday. hopefully next time we go, u can actually enjoy the whole drive, without any probs.

if people are interested in the beach cruise/bbq, i'll set it up

sent u a pm but yeah, im thinking about having it at night, cause its too hot during the day. the only problem that i see coming up, is the fact that a lot of people stay there pretty much the whole day until the beach closes at night. so if we were going to have it at night, then someone/some people would have to go early, and save a spot. i don't mind coming early, ill just chill there and go swimming
