Rumbling noise when the roads are wet 2
Hi everyone. This is similar to the thread Zambaleno posted. I have a rumbling noise coming from the right front passenger side wheel well. It happens when I drive on really wet roads or when I hit a puddle. My suspesion is stock and so is my exhaust. It sounds like something wants to rip off the front end. When I slow down to about 20km's the noise stops. I went back to honda a couple of times to have them look at the axles and bushings but they couldn't find anything wrong. Could this be the same problem as the previous thread?

the same thing happens to my car. It could be due to thermal shock, where water is hittin the hot exhaust and it causes it to boil. Does it happen when your idling and you rev it?

It only happens when I'm driving and there is a lot of water on the road. If I hit a puddle doing about 50, I can hear the noise coming from the passenger side wheel well and the passenger seat even vibrates. Sometimes I can feel the vibration in the shifter.

100% its your exhaust, ever since i got my car lowered it rumbles like that.. BIGTIME, the minute i go through a puddle or some snow. Your exhaust pipe gets hot and the water sizzles off the pipe, nothing you can do

Thanks for the help with this guys. My only concern Minorc is that my car isn't lowered. It still at the stock ride height.

Well my exhaust pipe was custom made at a buddy's shop, and even when the car wasn't lowered i would still get that problem from time to time. The pipe goes like ------------v-----------, like a V in the pipe that is lower
