Cai rubbing on hood

Has anyone had a problem with their CAI rubbing on your hood. It's pissing me off cause the powder coating is getting rubbed off and I'm afraid that it's going to put a hole in the top of the intake pipe. Somebody please help me.
I already did a search.

I have an AEM and it fits properly. I would reccomend taking off the intake and shave down the pipe that fits into the throttle body to allow for a better fit. I DO NOT know if this would affect the intake's performance, sound, or otherwise but my guess would be that it would make little if any difference. Atleast you would be able to use it on your vehicle.....

Just my 2 cents.........

I read a post somewhere that said to remove the battery and the casing to get more access to the area where the filter is. Im going to try that this weekend.
