do you have tint laws up that way? are you concerned with them if you do? if not id say 20% about, i think 5% is just too dark for at night, but 5% looks really good

im goin back and forth on the percent to do, ive been pulled over just cuz the cop wanted to check out my si. so im hesatent on to dark but most likely right around 20 all around and 35 on windshield. in tx u need that windshield done its to bright ha ha

well up here in washington. with the light reflecting in is 35% but i see people with darker tints. 20% and 35% in the front is what i'll probably do.

im originally from washington st. plannin on goin back up there for good within the next year. thats kinda the reason im leanin towards 20 all around my buddys have it on there rides in seattle and dont get to much heat from the cops. i know the windshield is mad illegal but it makes it so much nicer lol

it's 35% all around for legal in Maryland, but i've had 20% all around for about 6 months with and been pulled over once with it without being written up for it. Even with 20% i have to roll down my windows at night to back up kuz i cant see a damn thing! tint the front windshield and your askin to get pulled over

When you guys say "Tint the front windshield". Do you mean the whole thing or just the strip? Here in Oklahoma you can do the strip and it can be 2" below the AS1 line on the windshield. So on the civic that is a strip across the top about 8" wide.
So i have 5% on the rear and the back two windows, 20% on the front two, 5% for the strip across the front windshield. I am 100% legal here. lol.

yea im kinda sittin on the line of trouble but im alil on the you idiot side sometimes lol. windshiel means full, ive thought about doin the strip but to me why not do the whole thing lol. ill most likely do 20 all around wit 35 on windshield though so its kinda lighter lol

here in CA its illegal to have any tint on the front windows. I've had mine tinted at 15% for more than two years now and am yet to be pulled over (knocks on wood). If you're gonna get tint, dont go any lighter than like 20%, whats the point of tint if you can see right through it?

I have 5% and would never consider anything lighter. There are tint laws here in Florida, but the cops do not have meters to check, so they never bother anyone. If you get pulled over, just lower the front windows so they don't see it.
