Re: wish i had the money for this!!!
For like 2 or 3 grand more than the asking price, you could buy a new si and turbo it. why buy something someone has modded?? figure the thing probably got repo'd so, the owner prolly beat the hell out of it, before they came and took it away.
Re: wish i had the money for this!!!
Plus, you have to take into consideration that there's no real tuning avaliable for the fg2/fa5, all you can really work with is a/f ratio and a reflash. I bet if kpro was actually released for it (and you picked up a bigger snail) you could get quite a bit of power out of that kit. Hell, it's still cheaper than an ajp stage 2 and a whole hell of a lot more reliable.

Actually, it's more like 70 whp.. fg2's generally dyno out right around 180 whp, sometimes a little less.

KPRO?
Hell....get the p2r and gaskets, that makes a difference! eheh
theres even like 3-4 stages of camshafts for a k20
Re: wish i had the money for this!!!
I don't understand the post. There is no hondata kpro out for the k20z3, as there are no full tuning options out for the k20z3.
There have been rumors of an "i-pro" coming out for it instead of kpro, but one of hondatas reps said that was something he had never heard of until that day, lol.
Matter of fact, I can't remember ever seeing cams for the k20z3 either. That doesn't mean that there aren't any, I just don't remember seeing them. I know they're out for the a2 and the z1 but not the z3.
idk man, lol. I don't keep up with the specific aftermarket options for a car that I don't own, but I do know for a fact that kpro is not released for any new civic (06+).

The only option that hondata has avaliable for the k20z3 is the reflash which cannot be adjusted in any way.
Greddy has a piggyback unit out, but it's not very extensive so it really doesn't help for a full tune for people that want to seriously go f/i.

Re: wish i had the money for this!!!
Nope, no kpro out for the k20z3. Like I said, there is kpro for various other hondas (a whole lot of other hondas actually), but nothing for the new civics. The civic si that is listed on that screen shot is the 02-05 civic si with the k20a3.
If you look at the first link that I provided it lists the only avaliable options for kpro for civics..
[edit] A post by hondata regarding the rumor of ipro.. They're working on kpro, but there's not even so much as a release date yet.

We continue to work on products for the 06 Si. We own two 06 Civics for this purpose. Doing a good job takes time. Anyone who thinks they can do it faster should send us their CV.
