04 Civic or 02 RSX?

Ok heres my question for you guys... I have an 04 Civic ex 2dr. It has 73k miles on it. It has aftermarket wheels, 99-00 front lip, tsunami sides and rear, tanabe hyper medallion exhaust, aem cai, rsx rear sway, neuspeed front strut, tokico blues with tein s-techs, stock spoiler, stock fogs, hid fogs, hid headlights and I think thats it. My friend is selling his 02 Rsx type S with around 50k miles. He has lip, wheels, axle back, sri, hids. Would this be worth selling my car and getting his? He is willing to sell his car to me for around 13kish and I looked at my value and its only about 10kish. I was wondering if I left everything on I might be able to get 11k or part and get that much but is it worth getting?

Would the insurance go up? I'm only 20 so I am kinda worried that the insurance would go up but it is an older car so I dont know... any suggestions?

and feeler... anyone wanna buy my car?

selling it as a whole would be easier,
but you'll probably get more money if you part out

Also, in most states insurance doesn't go down til you hit 24. It goes by age groups like 18-24, 25-32, etc. I'm 23 and mine hasn't gone down since I was 18(and I have a perfect record).

That's is about how much used RSX-S's run for. I would go for it. You could sell your vic for about 10-12k, maybe little more if you are lucky lol. I say you should try to get him down to 11k since he is your friend :P.

Re: 04 Civic or 02 RSX?

u wont get 11k for your car... 10k is pushing it, but if its completely stock then maybe.

13k is a normal price tho.

or for 13k u can get a neon.. i mean a srt-4

Re: 04 Civic or 02 RSX?

Not alot of people like to buy cars that are done up. Maybe some but not many.. You'd have a better chance at selling it stock then selling it with all the stuff on it. Also you can part your car out and make about 2g's after selling everything maybe.. But i'd throw all the stock parts back on and sell it like that. The rsx is a sleeker car and is much faster then the civic. Do it.
