Dealer Security System and Subwoofer on 07 Si

Does anyone know about the security systems that dealers install on their inventories. I am buying an 07 Si next month, and was wondering if this is something I should consider getting. I would be able to get it for close to nothing, as I know the finance manager at the dealer I am buying from. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Also, the stock stereo is decent, but I know the first thing I would want to change is the subwoofer. It doesn't handle songs with heavy bass very well. The thing is, I don't want it to take up room in my trunk, so I would want it installed the same place the factory one is installed. Is this possible?

I think it would be pretty possible, if you look at the cover over the sub in the back there seems to be alittle bit of room for a bigger one. You should just go by your local circuit city or best buy and get there take on it. Maybe you can make a new cover for it thats bigger.

The sub in the rear deck is 8 inches. I doubt simply replacing it with another sub will help much, its most likely lack of any real power that limits its output. Not to mention the fact the input to the driver is equalized and cut off. Id say its cut off at about 50 -40 hz.

^^ Have to agree with that. That is why when you get an aftermarket head unit with more power than the stock one you hear things liven up a bit.
