If you can afford to invest in a Civic, you will be happy with this. The Honda has not modified in any real way. There's about 200K miles on it - it was purchased in Michigan and driven down to Texas a couple of years ago. We're the second owner. At this point the only reason we are selling it is because there is a problem with one of the engine cylinders, it's losing compression and therefore power. It still drives well, but it's something you'll have to take care of. The other things that probably need to be addressed:
- Left rear corner of body is rusting.
- Very Slow leak of oil from engine (Dealership Alternative said this was normal of high mileage vehicles), so you have to put in a quart of oil every 1 or 2 months
- Could use a fresh paint job (but it doesn't look that bad, as you can see in the pics.
- Side view mirrors need replacement.
Other than this, the interior is in good shape, the seats are in good shape, except for the drivers side, which has a patch in a place where alot of civics get wear. The electronics work flawlessly. There has been cruise control installed aftermarket. The "210 Scheduled Maintenance" was done at the Dealership Alternative a couple of months ago, so it should be pretty solid other than the things listed.
