WTB: Ksport hub adapters and Tein spanner wrenches ASAP
Ok so i bought a set of tein flex coilovers and im kinda pissed because the hole is 16mm and i have an 01 with 14mm bolts. I can either drill out my hubs to 16mm OR i heard ksport includes adapters with its coilovers that make the holes go from 16mm to 14mm. I would really like to get these asap. As for spanner wrenches. The guy who i bought the coilovers from couldnt find his spanner wrenches so now i need to get a set before i can adjust the height. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE!!!!!!!!!

Did you buy RSX Tein Flex?

He's selling them for 20$ (Wrenches)
As for the Adapters, They wont work for you, they are for people that have 16mm Knuckles and want to use 14mm Knuckles. Its basically a sleeve that goes in the hole that decreases the size make the bolt sit flush within the knuckle.
You might have to switch to 03-05 Knuckles for it to work.

ok i have tein flex coilovers for a 2001+ civic and they have the wrong size holes and i was talkin to ksport abut it and they said that they are $2 each and they are the right thing i think. And still couldnt i like get them welded onto some bolts in the right spots or something i dunno. The seem useful tho for $2

its not a problem with the tie rod ends. Its a problem with the hubs. my steering hub bolts are 14mm and he steering hub holes on my coilovers are 16mm. Tie rods have nothing to do with it.
Re: WTB: Ksport hub adapters and Tein spanner wrenches ASAP
What he is talking about has nothing to do with Tie Rod Ends.
His Crash Bolts or Knuckle Bolts are 14mm because he has an 01-02 Civic,
03-05 have 16mm bolts which means he either needs to switch his knuckle assembly to an 03-05 version for his Flex to work.
The KSport Adapters will not work for you... If you want these coilovers to workwithout having to switch the knuckle assembly, you'll have to take the fronts to a shop and have them rig something up that will reduce the size of the hole.. either by welding it and re-drilling the holes or something along those lines.
Good Luck!

actually im thinkin about makin a DIY if things go the way they look like they're going im going to get a machine shop around where i live to make me some reducer washers. They make them at a local hydraulic store. Im going this afternoon to see about gettin them made. If not i'll get some of those ksport adapter sleeves and cut them up into little sections the width of the 16mm holes then weld up some 14mm washers to them so they just pop in the holes.
How much would 16mm hubs from a junkyard cost?

I honestly couldnt tell you, some places may cut you a good deal while others will try and rip you off so its hard to say.

hey i was thinkin tho could i just get those adapters from ksport and cut it so it just fits in the hole cuz it wouldnt go beyond or behind it cuz of the bolt and he hub is a different size. It seems like it would work. I think im gonna try it.

Re: WTB: Ksport hub adapters and Tein spanner wrenches ASAP
ive got a pipe cutter. I also have a jig saw and a rotary tool. It really cant be that hard to cut it out. cut it with the rotary tool then just grind it down till its the rite size. I think rite now im gonna try makin some bushings out of random stuff. What do u think i could make them out of. Something fairly strong and easily pliable. I thought about using like rolled aluminum sheet and cutting those and i dunno makin some spacers out of those. That cant be too hard. Wutever im gonna try just like wrapping the bolts with something so they dont oval out the holes. Cuz if wut my shop teacher told me is right if object a hits object b and object a is softer than object b no damage will be done to the surface of object b. but if object b (the harder one) hits object a than damage will result. Thus proving that a simple piece of rubber or even duct tape will stop the holes from ovaling out. CORRECT??????? or am i way off
