Squeeking noise honda civic 93

My civic is making a squeeking noise everytime i turn right, when I turn left it is fine and when i hit the breaks the noise goes away. I think I need new brakes but it sounds like my front brakes is down to the rotors! I was wondering if it is hard putting brakes on myself but I want to know if i need a new rotor or not? How do you know if your rotors are bad?

Found out it is the tie end rod, seems to be loose. Hitting to many damn pot holes
