Question for anyone with aftermarket seats
After removing the passenger seat to see what might be involved I noticed the seatbelt latch was actually part of the seat. There was also a cylinder on the bottom of the seat labeled explosive. I dont have side airbags so I am not sure what the cylinder is for so any info on that would be helpful. My real question is, how you were able to remove the latch and attach it to your new seat? Thanks for any info!

Rep Power: 0 Just one bolt removes the latch and cylinder, that's your SRS sensor assembly. Bolt it on to the new seat frame. Sparco provides for this, I can't say about any of the other aftermarket seats.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks SQCivic! Ill take another look at the seats to see if I can find an available stud to bolt it to. If anyone has some instructions on making some brackets or adapters for the Universal brackets that come with most seats that would be sweet too
