Some chick crashed into my civic last week! My car is not driveable. She hit the passenger front tire, ripped off my front bumper and my fender is next to the engine. Funny thing is that the 1st thing that she said when she got out the car was "Please dont call the cops, i dont have any insurance on this car". HAHAHA! I called the cops, but of course! they did nothing. Just my luck! Im only 3 months shy of paying my car off and this crap happens. Some people say that civics are magnets for accidents.

Dude that completely sucks. That probably means control arm damage, possibly axles and seals and I'd check the whole knuckle out to make sure she didn't spangle anything on the brakes, lugs or tie rods. Oh yeah, and your rim, tire, bumper cover, fender, paint and so on. I hope you have full coverage.....

I called the shop that's fixing my car, they said that it should be ready by this upcoming weekend. That's my car's 1st accident and i kept it impecable so when I sell it, I get a lot of money... forget it! the idea is out the window. The auto shop said that they're replacing everything except the hood that they fixed it. So i got a new tokico shock, lower control arm, tie rods... basically the whole passenger side suspension.

My insurance comp said that the case is really hard... that the only thing that they can pin on her is the fact that she was speeding and driving without insurance..

What more do u need?wtf i had a crash earlier this year a guy ILLEGALLY busted a U-turn in front of me we both had the same insurance and they tried to say i was liable too if i was speeding. I was so pissed i threaten to get a lawyer and i wasn't speeding any hows. But she had no reason to be driving without insurance nor was she suppose to be speeding. I would get in contact with a lawyer if i were you.

We'll see what happens... unfortunately. I went to the body shop to check up on my car. The car was stripped from the front end to replace them with the new parts. Supposively i get the car back today or monday.

Are you going back stock? This would have been the time for a CF hood, new headlights, grill, jdm fenders with markers and a lip.

When I hit a deer, I used the opportunity to get all of my stuff.

My car has been stock for about 2 yrs now... It finally hit me that when I had my car with accessories, i'd get pulled over all the time! Good thing that the girl hit me on the passenger side because I was having issues with the suspension that was knocking, that fender that she hit had already too many dents, and the hood was bent because someone tried to break into my car before... So in the long run, I got what I wanted!

the fact that she was speeding takes away all liability from you and places it on her. if you can prove it then you don't have to pay squat and your insurance won't go up.

I agree, if she was speeding and was driving W/O insurance. Then it is her fault.

My wife had a similar accident. She was stopped at a stop sign then proceeded slowly across the road. A VW came over the hill and side swiped her. At first they said it was my wifes fault because she had the stop sign and the VW did not. Then the figured the speed of the VW and the fact that they did not have insurance. My insurance paid to have our car fixed and then sued the lady in the VW. They said that she was traveling at an unsafe speed for the road conditions, the hill. Also, she should not have been on the road in the first place, no insurance.

Check this out! Body shop called me yesterday telling me that my car was ready... But I didn't want to return my rental until I was satisfied with the repairs on my car. I get to the body shop and my car was parked outside looking nice! but looks can be deceiving. Of course! I didnt take the car, i told the shop that i wasnt satisfied with the repairs for numerous reasons.... One: wrong tire! Two: Fender does not align properly with the body of the car (aftermarket part, it wasnt a honda part), front bumper did not align properly with the fender (Big NO NO).... fender liner was sticking out of the side of the fender. I'm like "Who assembled this?? a 4 year old?" I specifially said that I only wanted HONDA REPLACEMENT PARTS! AND! I want a copy of all invoices and receipts showing that the parts were purchased from honda... There is no way im getting F**ked with cheap parts on my car. Woooooo Saaaaahhhhhhh!!!!

Did you talk to the adjuster before the work was done. When i had my accident i told him " So what kind of parts you using". Got the invoice and all Oem honda parts also checked in twice a week to see how progress was going.
