Alright it has finally come my car is pushing 340000 but I passed emissions. I have done a bit of work on it i.e msd ignition fireball starter, msd cap, ngk blue wire, and plugs, ram air intake, high flow cat, had 2.5inch midpipe changed that with 2.25 mandrel stainless into a polished stainless resinator(never had one b4 was told it would help in bottom end, stainless exhaust again then rs sports muffler. Short throw shiftter, Flywheel, clutch coming soon due to out tranny seal leaking???
I now want to drop in headers jrp online recommends 4to2 2 piece dc sports header, will that work or should l be looking at 4 to 2 to 1. Second compression seems good still lots of power for what it is but, if I should happen to swap it what is the better swap 4000 is what i think I can swing forget installation and tuning that is done for free by a good friend so 4000 for the kit, I am thinking b16a(sir), b18c1, or k20 2002-03 hopefully I can find a deal on the k20 but whatever, what do you all think any comments would be greatly appreciated.
So I went in to pick up my headers yesterday and I was told to forget it why put them on for 8- 10hrsp, I was told b/c I have rust on both quarters I should bury the car, I dont know what to do spend 340(CDN) for the dc headers (brand new in the box) or fak it and start saving for a new one???? I want a fleet of bubbles on for every day of the week don't you???????

cam, pistons, rods, would be a good idea, but a lot of people boost safely on stock motors, its about how much boost, just dont expect to run 50psi, more like 6-8

for sure look into a swap, if you are going to boost you got to basically rebuild your engine to handle boost. Pistons, camshaft, valves, basically a brand new engine.

Update............Blew out my resinator after 4 days of use, went to the shop replaced it for no charge, if you are in the toronto area give hot rod scott a try good service, great prices, went to get headers but was advised against it due to the body and the number of accidents, I have been told to drive the **** out of it and burry it, this makes me pissed yeah so what, accidents whatever..... What do you think that a body shop charges for the rear end?????? I have been qouted 1200. DO i keep the car as a beater and dump my cash into a new one or keep my baby????????
