Will Tein Flex from Civic fit RSX
Hey guys,
Well some of your my know that my Civic got written off( https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...-friendly.html ) a while back...
Well anyways I just got a '04 PWP RSX-S, and I was wondering if my Tein Flex from my (EM2) '01 Civic EX would fit my RSX? From the Tein website( http://www.tein.com/honda.html ), the specs are exactly the same except the model number. The model # is DSA22-6USS1 with a spring rate of F 12/R 14, which is the same spring rate as the RSX. I know when the Flex came out for the RSX, the spring rate was less, but then went up to the same as mine... The model # for the RSX is DSA28-6USS1... I don't remember if I read that the EP3 Civic coilovers fit right on the EM2's...
The reason why I'm wondering is because I remember of a few (EM2) Civic owner putting RSX coilovers on their Civics. The only difference was they needed RSX Tie-Rod Ends and it was a different bolt size. So needing to drill the hole out bigger...
So I'm thinking would it be the same with the RSX? Using Civic Tie-Rod Ends and different bolt size? Thanks!

Well, it looks like you've got all you're information together. I've read many threads on here that say it'll fit right in there, with of course the exception of the tie rod ends and the bolt size. Sounds to me like you're all set! I don't know too much about the concept, but there are plenty of informative articles in the forums, you should be able to search and find a more explicatory version of what I said.

hey,
Yeah i had EP3-R teinss under my EM2 the only tingh was that the front
couldnt go lower then my -4mm spring drop.
I think they will fit just need to see what you can do with the high adjust.
Put them on and you will know.
peace

You will need civic tie rod ends, but you should be good to go otherwise.

^ civic tie rod ends..... civics are i think 14mm and rsx is 16mm.... and the bottom strut bolts will be different as well.... 14mm compared 16mm too.... so you might need to drill the hole a little bigger.

Like previously stated..
You'll need civic tie-rod ends.
Enlarge the crashbolt holes from 14mm to 16mm
The rears you may have a problem as the rsx have a thicker bushing for the lower mounting. You might need washers or something to compensate. I remember reading when putting rsx rears in, you need to shave a mm or two off of the bushing for it to fit.

I would certainly be interested to know how that goes when you get it done, ive been thinking about trading in my civic for an RSX and would like to carry through my megan coilovers. I at least know the rear camber brackets will trasnfer fine. But it would sure nice to know all the specifics in the modifications/redillings I would need to plan on.
