Screw the rev limit!!! How do you remove the Speed governor
I need to know how to remove the Speed cut on an 2004 civic... Non Vtec Is there some kind of sensor on the tranny that i remove thats what i was told.... Help would be much appreciated.....

not to be a dick or anything but "screwing the rev limit" and removing the "speed cut" are two different things, and I don't think it's happening because it's in your ECU.

there should be no reason u want to take the speed limiter off of your car. for one its not safe, it governs out at 118 thats fast enough. its to fast for a civic anyways. secondly u could injure? or kill yourself. third, its really hard cuz its in the ECU like stated previously. so unless you know someone with mad computer skills and reflash your ecu and keep all your stock settings minus the governer then its not gonna happen. just give up on it.

cause if your any geek of the street you know that the drag coefficient states you must have that to break threw the drag that the wind creates. 
But if you want to screw the rev limiter:
1) take hammer out of tool box
2) smack yourself across the face
3) repeat until sense has been knocked back into you

First thing you do is call your state officials and ask to talk to the Local Speed Governor, pay a prostitute to have sex with him, video tape it, send it to your local news station, and thats how you remove your speed governor

the time i spent on this forum saw many worthless threads..and this is it..
but to answer your question...to my knowledge i have not seen a thread where anyone was sucessful on 7th gen bone stock....

^^^^^& If You Put The Car On Jack Stands And Take Off The Front Tires. Then Start The Car Put It In Drive It Will Do More Than The Indicated 140. Me 2. I have never refused to answere a question but I am not going to go hunt down all the ricers and tell them what they are doing is wrong. Most of them have the mind set that they are Cool and good luck trying to change their mind.
Take this guy for example. If you look at all the posts by silverstreak04. He talks about having a turbo and having fuel injector problems. Well if he did his turbo set up corectly his EM should take care of the limitor. So does he really have a turbo setup or was he clowning about that? So with a public profile that sais, nothing more than, he has 16 posts and is 20 years old. I say he is a ricer with little hope.

Find the longest straight road that leads off a cliff hit 120 then close your eyes. Then just stay on the gas. lol or just get a streetbike.
