Hello all just bought a new shiny 07 silver EX, sweet ride, refined power train, love it. My EX has XM satellite radio, salesman told me it should work for a few months and then I have to pay for it. The problem is it does'nt do anything. I push the XM button and nothing happens, do I need to know something else? Activation? Manual states it should recieve a minimal range of stations even without paying.

Usually it has to be activated. Talk to the dealership.

Found out why XM does'nt work. It was never installed, the salesman was full of stuff. Sheesh, feel like an idiot!!

I just checked on Honda's site, and they only offer say it comes with XM if you have Navigation.

Ya it says xm on the dash, but you still need the reciever installed. Opie n Anthony xm 202!

just go to best buy and get yourself the xm sportscaster for $29 and then go to radio shack and get a headphone to headphone connecter (1/8th to 1/8th $4). install the receiver and then plug the headphone cable from your receiver into your aux. input belowe the cig lighter. your xm will now work. then call the number, tell them you want 3 months free and the $77 a year deal and youre set.

well, talk to the sales manager or the owner of the dealership. tell him the saleman told you it comes with XM and that is what sold you on it. that way, they should offer to give you the XM since you were understanding that was in the price of the car that you paid for.
