Question Searching For A Fuel & Ignition Managment.

im searching for a fuel mamagement system used or new. would like to get a aem ems . the best price i found was $1640.00 with uego new. next i called greddy and the company does not offer a e-manage for the vehicle. but i have seen many members here using it , im puzzled about that. i cant use a piggy back system with aout ignition controls. so im looking for ideas here from some of the turbo members. thank you for any help or info you can give to the cause . THIS IS THE LAST PART OF THE TURBO SETUP TO GET RUNNING . the tsi set up will not work for me. ive spent countless hrs trying .

i saw you said greddy says that their blue emanage doesnt work for the 04-05's but it does. I run an 04 civic boosted fully tuned on 6 lbs. Some of the wires are actually different than the list on the 03 but its easily fixable. If you choose the emanage i can help ya.

Re: Searching For A Fuel & Ignition Managment.

the only systems that offer ignition timing adjustments are the Emanage and AEM EMS. Some guys have gotten the Emanage ultimate to work but not without its headaches. You could also go with the KPro, no one has done it yet though cuz it just came out a couple weeks ago. You'd have to swap over to the RSX ecu I think. The details are on the forums somehere.

Not many people can tune the AEM but it has the most tunability, more people can tune the emanage cuz it is user friendly, KPro is supposedly easy to use too and alot more people know about it than both the emanage and aem. Its really your personal preference, what do you want to do?

Re: Searching For A Fuel & Ignition Managment.

A few notes: Your car uses a wideband sensor compatible with the K-Pro.

-$150 - $250 for a used RSX base, CRV or Civic Si ECU
-$1175 retail price for the K-Pro with cam wheel (some dealers sell for less)
- Immobilzer works
- Emissions systems work

The K-Manager software includes a base turbo map with RSX-S injectors (170 HP 170 Tq at 7 psi)

XSRCivic,

I'm trouble using a emanage ultimate. It doesn't work. Do you know where can I find a basemap ?

Re: Searching For A Fuel & Ignition Managment.

Just buy a K pro have it tuned professionally and dont play with anything else, thats the best you'll do for the money. E-manage is universal piggy-back. These topics have been beaten to death. As of this time I'd bet on the K pro.
