Need a cheap solution to prevent my trunk from *almost* killing anymore people :)

My trunk has a bit of dynamat, and well, maybe its just me, but whatever magic it is that holds our trunk lids up, isn't working very well, and the thing same down on my friends back Has anyone added in any springs/shocks or whatever? How does that work? Are there any other solutions to hold the trunk lid up?

if you don't have a spoiler then you could get the heavy duty gas struts from honda for the spoiler. If you do then you are probably gonna have to get some stronger struts from somewhere.

All you need is the "heavy duty" springs from Honda that come with the OEM rear spoiler. I'm pretty sure you can order them separately.

I don't think Honda makes gas struts for our trunk.

I've got that spoiler. The spring that comes with it allows it to open just the same with an additional 22lbs on the end from the spoiler. I tried to find a part number on it but no luck.

The OEM springs for the spoiler are a good bet as well.
