H&R or Goldline springs?

I saw the H&R and goldline ones in the photo thread and they seem pretty good.
so which one should i go for? H&R or Goldline?
I'm planning on staying with stock shocks for the time being.
what's the drop on the H&R one? the goldline one is 1.75

I have GoldLine springs and it is a pretty decent drop, I think I went from a 4 finger wheel gap to a two, a little too low IMO. I am looking for a whole new setup.

It depends on what your motives are. Do you want to Autorcross or are they just for street use? I have the H&R springs with Koni yellows. They are awesome. I put the springs on before I put to Konis on and they made a huge difference. The handling was so much better. The ride quality didnt suffer either, and the drop is aggressive but not too low. I bought them in 03 at tirerack.com for 150, they might be lower now.

how come you didn't get it replaced by warranty? or did they say it didnt cover it?

i just want it for street use.. looks. i dont want the ride quality to suffer much.

I had goldlines on stock struts. ride was pretty good, close to stock, however over time i noticed it getting a little bouncy. Some koni yellows fixed that right up.

The only thing I was dissapointed about the springs is the same drop in front and back. The back sits lower by about half an inch. When I had 2 12's in the back it got even worse. Now i have a single 10" and not as extreme.

I changed my Eibach Pro's with the H&Rs bout 4 months ago. The drop is 1.3" all around...which looks perfect IMO. I've got maybe a 1/2 finger gap in the back and 1 in the front, definately get a camber though cause it'll WILL rub.

Very true, I would scrape going in a lot of driveways, there were a couple I would avoid all together cause I thought it was about to rip my exhaust off.

But a set of 18's will fix that! Well almost. I very rarely scrape anymore.

I forgot to mention that I've got 18's also so my gap will be smaller than someone with 17's...that was obvious though....
I'd post some pics but it's in the shop right now having some junk done.

i have h&r's on stock struts and i'm very happy with the look and ride. it's like 1.3" all around, sits real nice, and the ride is not bouncy.

i guess i'm leaning towards the H&R.

should i go for 17" or 18" rims? i dont wanna have a heartache everytime i hit a pothole, even if they're not that often in vancouver area. I was planning on 17" with 45 profile just to be safe

I also have a 17in wheel with a 45 tire. My ride quality is just fine.
