Honda brand brake fluid

The owners manual makes quite an issue of using only Honda brand brake fluid vs. DOT 3 or 4 from auto supply stores. Does anyone know how true this is or what is different about their brake fluid? Thanks.

I work for a dealer

and there isnt really a difference, they just want to make sure you are using the right stuff and honda fluid is not expensive its about 3-4 dollars pending on the dealer
