On the sedans there are two chrome pieces which I'm not particularly fond of. The first is the hood molding for which I ordered a body color one from Honda Acessories
But I'm looking for the rear license molding (look at the link if you don't know what I'm talking about) in the same color as the body. I contacted handaacessories.com and they said they don't have it. Has anyone heard of this thing being made, or the dealerships having them?

Just a thought. That link clearly shows the coupe taillights, which are entirely different. This could possibly mean the license plate piece could also be different in size. You might want to closely inspect and compare the dimensions of both before getting it.

they are the same, check out the acc gold trim kit numbers....

edit: 370856 p/n for the gold, same for 4dr and 2dr ex models

Well I emailed them and asked them about it and am waiting for the reply. Avenger I checked the part no's the one for the body color is 374564 while the one for the gold acc grill is 370856. Where you referring to other numbers or these ones?

i was just saying that if the acc gold trim was the same P/N for the 2DR and 4DR, then the coupe molding is the same as the sedan.... so a coupe body colored should be able to replace the sedan chrome trim

Alright guys I got the email back from Majestic Honda. It does fit. So for those of you with sedans, you can just order the body colored one for the coupe.

HEY! Coupe and sedan pieces are nothing like each other. Coupe is totally different shape and won't fit. If you want OEM, get the painted one from an 04 civic sedan only. Theirs are color-matched for the latest model.

Once again, coupe trim WILL NOT fit sedans. Don't try it or you'll be sorry.

Yea, what gearbox said. Coupe trunk trim dosn't fit on the sedan. Find a coupe and take a close look at it.
