What's up Canada Civics
What's up,
I visited Vancouver, BC last week, from the Southeast US! I went to visit this girl I know. I had to fly into Vancouver intl and then take a 1 hour city bus ride over to the ferry at Departure Bay. Then take the ferry for 1 1/2 hour to Nanimo, then 1 hour to Courtenay/Comox. I wish I could have stayed in Vancouver, It seemed like a cool city! I saw some civics, but it was boring as hell on the island! Let me know about Vancouver and cool spots if I ever come back. The weather sucked, cold and rainy, but the people were cool.

Hey that's too bad you had to hit Courtenay/Comox in the winter....its about the best place on earth in the summer, make sure you try it again in the heat of july.....I live in vancouver and its by far a city made for summer...we get a tiny bit less rain than Seattle but it still rains somtimes for weeks on end, but this november had broken the record for rain by the 16th so you hit us on a extra bad month........and thats a long trek to comox.....next time its only about an extra $100 bucks to fly to comox.......I bet the bus was at least $75.....

yeah the island got some serious snow...DT van we only had about 5 inchs tops, but people drove like it was the end of the world...west coasters suck at driving in the snow.....lol
Well, I guess you get used to the people if you live around here long enough. I visited Spokane, Washington once walking around the whole day alone with no car (sister was on accounting test trip and mom accompanied her while I was left to wander around downtown) and I thought the people there were nice. A group of kids came up to me and said good morning amongst other people. I thought the kids were going to jump me at first LOL.
And Vancouver always have crappy weather. I dunno about Seattle since I've only been there a few times.
