If I own a VP civic! Is it an LX,DX,EX?

I feel like an idiot asking this but can someone explain to me when I go to buy parts for my car, they don't ask for VP? What's the difference between the LX,DX, EX etc....??

VP is a DX with a few extras, not exactly sure what those extras are though. I think it's A/C, and power locks or something like that. Whatever you have that a DX doesn't is the difference between a VP and a DX

its not power locks it is a cd player and ac that a vp has that a dx doesnt have

According to my 2004 literature the "DX" doesn't exist anymore and it was replaced by "VP". But many auto parts stores still call it a "DX". Essentially they are the same.
