I've bought a new hu for my civic not long ago. Its Pioneer DEH-P6800MP that replaced my old Panasonic. Even tho I'm not good at electrical stuff I've tried to swap the decks myself by simply connecting the yellow-yellow, red-red, black-black, blue-blue wires together. I think I have missed something because after I've turned the Pioneer on I was only getting sound for the front speakers. It seems like the RCA's for the rear didnt work
. If anyone knows how to fix that, please let me know. I love the sound rightnow but I can only imagine how I could enjoy it more if I had all 4 speakers work.
BTW: I have 4 Polk DB6500s installed all around with Profile 1000W amp.
Hope that helps. Thanks a lot!

yes I did, bro. when I turn it on rear speakers only, I only hear bass. this is the first time I've installed a HU, so I'm sure I've missed something. all I did was to connect red-red, blue-blue, black-black, yellow-yellow wires + the antenna, which works fine. please let me know how to fix that.
You have an amp running all four speakers.
You only need to make sure the RCAs are plugged in correctly.
The RCAs are sending the sound signals to the amplifer which sends them to the speakers.
The speaker wires from the headunit to the stock wiring get sent to the speaker wires that you don't use any more.
Make sure the RCAs are plugged in right.

well, i couldnt tell u that. it jumps sometimes back n forth, but i think its pretty cool thing the hu has. one of the ways to find that out would be to get one of the stinger battery terminals wit digital voltage reading:

question
Hey guys, this may be a ridiculous question, but here goes...
i bought my civic used, and i'm not sure if the previous owner changed the speakers on the rear deck.
what company are the stock speakers that come on a 2003 civic ex coupe?
the one's that are in there now are pioneers...
