Good 6x9s that fit...
I purchased a set of pioneer 6x9s that fit, they were only 100 dollars. I just wanna say i highly reccomend these speakers, but i do have one question. When reinstalling my interior, the panels on the sides, the ones held in by the rear seats, the top part of them, with the white clip, didnt fasten, but I installed all the other panels over top of them in that condition. Is this okay to do??, or what did i do wrong??
Do you mean the rear deck or the panels on the c pillars? Either way, you just have to shift them and make sure the clips are all in place. Then just give them a solid thump and they should just snap into place.
thanks, but i tried to work them in, but its not the c pillar panels, its the ones further down. But i'm, not real worried about it, it looks fine, but i will post the model number later when i get to my house.
I have Eclipse 4-way 6x9 and I love them, unamp'd and they sound good pair with Eclipse 3-way 6.5 in front.
I took off my rear deck to dynomat it and I broke a few clips here and there(like 2-3 I think) and everything still fits fine so you should be good.

alright, the model is Pioneer: TS-A6971R, but does anyone have a reccomendation for an amp for me to get????, the specs are: 300 watts, 40w nominal power, and a frequency response of 28-33000 Hz.
thanks speedingslowly! They are a great value. I think they might have those at Best Buy, so I can hear em there.
I'd go with a little 100w, 2 channel amp, or, if you want a sub in the future, get a 3 or 4 channel amp and you could run the sub and the 6x9's off of the same amp.
1turboed - 6.5"

well as for the panels not clipping back in properly you gotta check and make sure that no clips are missing otherwise than that it should just snap right back into place with a little force. Those speakers are gonna play very well a friend of mine has a pair of them in his civic with subs hooked up to 1 2400w mono amp and another 2500w amp for the components and they bump harddddddddddddddd...pioneer is quality
