i have a 02 civic, and i want a TEIN front strut bar, but does our cars' strut bar fit in a dc5 or vice-versa. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. i want a TEIN bar badly...thanks tho..

Since we're talking about strut bars, is there any real benefit to have one for our cars? If you look under the hood, the strut towers are located right next to the firewall. I mean what can a strut bar do that the firewall can't?

only reall benefit in strut bars is looks and flex. rear is a waste i know, but when i had a front put on a while back, i noticed some lil diff. but i want something better for a front to dress the engine better. and i want TEIN!

eh, pretty much no benefit under normal conditions. But when I totalled my car, maybe...... it helped there! (main impact was on front left side, right side of car was fine)

Yeah they fit... Just make sure you get ones that are lower rising because I know some of the DC5 bars are taller and may not clear our hood.

the front strut bar does a lot but the rear doesnt do quite as much...sway bars and an underbrace also make a world of difference

the DC5 sways will fit and EM2 and vice versa if you searched around there are some other threads on this I believe. I know this because I went from a ES2 to a DC5

yeah the carbing/tein one... i want it from showstoppersusa... thats my TEIN source. it's like $135. itll be a couple weeks... im holding off for a PS3! but i plan on getting that one from there for the 02-06 rsx.

i tought i read it while back someone fit a greddy one...but i cant remember. go for it. the Cusco fits, so we cant prolly fit all DC5 ones.. so i think itll work. im gonna get one in a couple weeks.
