Should I Get Tein Flex Or Stick With Basics?

I Was Curious I Have Basics Right Now But Should I Go For The Flex Or Something Else That Is More Reliable?

i say go for JIC magic...i think they are one of the best out there other than HKS hypermax rs suspensions...tein flex are expensive and nice but i dont think they are worth it if u can get a much better suspension for almost the same price...i say JIC magic all the way

i whould get what ever you feel like but when you do pm me and sell me your basics im in rain city "seattle" and i have major blow oem sturts with some progrees springs and pretty bad tiers. witch means sooner i get some sturts the sooner i can get some new tiers and the sooner i can go faster than 70 on the freeway.

the basics are already going back on my car.

Julio, you should just get the Tein SS, you dont need the FLEX and if you dont know how to tune them, its pointless. Might as well save some cash.

Hell yea!!! The other ones like JIC and TEIN are over rated! I have megans and their great!! I dunno if you guys seen that autocross clip where this WRX snaps the JIC coilover damper in half!! Unless you are going to a track the TEIN basics are good enough.......

thats wut u might think...if you've been in my friends ek hatch with JIC FLT-A2 coilovers those are so much better than wut i've seen megan/d2 do...for the price tho megan/d2/ksports etc are great but they are still twin tube shocked coilovers...flex for specific cars are monotube shocks but JIC/HKS and other high end coilovers are monotube coilovers...JIC specifically is a monotube with a Swift spring on it...(if you know anything about JGTC all of them use swift springs or swift replacement springs with the coilovers)

but i bet if you were to put one with megans/D2 damper kit and JIC they will perform just as good on the track...Quality wise might be a little higher but for performance I doubt it will make that much a difference....

Ok....well from the way you phrased the question, it's safe to assume you aren't a track driver. If all you are looking for is a "reliable" coilover, then like Mike said, you will want to just get a coilover such as Megan/D2/K-Sport. The quality of the product is solid and it will not cost an arm and a leg. Tein Flex are pointless for the price anyway, and the only reason BuddyClub RSD's are any better than HKS/JIC/etc is because of the adjustment of rebound only as opposed to rebound/compression together like most all coilovers in this price range.

Thank you, Josh. Where have you been and is the K in a new body now? I love my RSD's!

Yeah I've been off the boards here for far too long which really is a shame. It's still up in the air which chassis the k-dub will be in but it should be back in a month or two here....
