i'd stay away from the xplod stuff, it malfunctions quite a bit, i've heard from many people. you're better off to go with pioneer, even though it's not black and red

I think Rockford Fosgate stuff is red and black. But it's not the best either. I'd say don't worry about the colors of audio stuff. Audiobahn has some silver subs, you can also find some amps that are silver, some silver and black. And I'm sure you can find a head unit that's either all black or maybe even all three colors. I checked out Link just to see what was out there. Not sure what your price rang is. Good Luck!

i've never had any experience of sony car audio myself, but i've always heard bad things about them. if you really want sony, i think you should go with the ES (elevated standard) class. good luck on you decision

well, not sure why everyone is hatin on sony or rockford fosgate, but oh well...anyways, i got the sony M770 headunit with a R.F. 600w x 5 channel amp with (2) R.F. XLC Punch subs (400w each). my system has worked great. i started off with an alpine deck, but since my girlfriends alpine got stolen, and since she like mine so much, i gave mine to her and went with the high-end sony head unit. so far i have had no problems with any of my stereo equipment. i honestly think ur system will last as long as u can...DEPENDING on how well u treat it. for example my friend put a sony deck in his 4x4...that deck didnt last more than a year...and the same thing happened to his next panasonic deck. need i describe how he drove his truck....offroading EVERY DAY!!! anyways, u catch my drift...

All you can hate on Sony...!!!

I've had 3 different Sony decks and all have been great...None were the ES series either...If you DL mp3' s I recommend the CDXMP450...

It's great...just pop in a cd and have over 100 songs...Also, I have had 2 sony amp...decent power...not a Macintosh or anything...but u get what u pay for...check out my setup below...
