Just Got A Dry Shot.. Help Plzz

Ok my friend just sold me his Zex dry shot for $200.. Im not usein the purge or the box. We just hooked it from after we took it off his car. He said its usein a 38shot or somethin that makes like 65-75whp. But we got everything perfect, you cant even tell I have it. We riged it up to a botton that sits on my foot thing next to my clutch, witch makes the spray come out, and u cant even tell its there. But anyway I got to hook the power for the botton to my fuse and i put it in the daytime running lights on and i ment to put it on the ACC radio, but when i turnd the car on the thing clicked like it was suposed to but then i shut my car off and there was like a small fire thing on the wires. so we re did the wires and my car would not start. everything would turn on but it would not crank over. come to find out i blew my ign fuse under my hood! so tomrow we gunna go down to honda and get a new one if we cant get one from like a parts store witch i dont think u can. but does anyone know why that would happen? and if the new fuse will make it start? thxx.. also when i do spray once it starts workin i will get a video and i will also not be sprayin in 1st gear or below 3k rpms. any help thxxxx

You should not be playing with electrical if you have no clue how it works.

Dry shoot is not safe because you have to make up with fuel but if you must:
The nozzle have to be far away from the TB.
And microswitch needs to activate in full open throttle
And your should try to plug in your positive cable to a fuse and into an ignition cable (thick yellow w/blk stripe underneath steering wheel.)
And if is fused you shouldn't had any problems.
Try to find a wiring scheme on line from any of the nitrous distribuitors and do exactly as they show, relay, primary switch and microswitch will have to be set just right.
The last thing you need is a fire close to nitrous!

Good luck Matt
