tuning phoenix gold amp
tuning phoenix gold amp
hey guys, i need your help.
I have just installed a set of infinity 6.5 front components and im running it off a phoenix gold octane 8:0 amp (4 channels). I tried tuning the amp by turning everything on the deck to 0 bass, 0 treble (flat) and turning my components up to like 50/62. The problem is i can't seem to hear any distortion when turning the music up. From what i have heard, the pg amp that i have is powerful for the components so wouldn't it create distorted sounds? confused: Right now i have the gain set up half way but im not sure if thats the right thing to do so any help would be appreciated. thanks.
