Does anyone know what happened to Daniel De La Torre?? I have seen alot of his work on here doing the retrofits so I sent him the setup I wanted. We didn't really talk to much, basically said what I wanted and assumed that was it. So after a handful of weeks I send him an e-mail and he forgot what we had talked about... after that got sorted out he said to give him acouple days and he would ship them out. This friday will mark 13 weeks since I shipped them out to him. I have e-mailed him many times and even tried calling the phone number he gave me to get no answer. I live in Maine so its not like I can really go to the address he gave me in California. If anyone can help that would be great.

Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory but i'm just trying to get it out there.

I talked to my dad about this and we are ready to let authorities deal with it seeing how it is grand larceny but hopefully that doesnt need to happen.

he took way too many jobs and this stuff takes time for custom retros. not sure what you can do tho, i think eventually you will get your stuff, it just might take a long while.

I have the exact same problem as you. Somebody here mentioned that he got problem with his internet connection. But whenever I called him, he never picked up. So I don't know what I can do either.

i still feel that a person should not take a job and say he'll do it in a given time, when he can't. If you can't get the work done, atleast update the person and let him know that it may take longer.
I've had that happen to me with wheels... got wheels from mackin industries, they told me 60-90 days but they ended up coming 6 months later.

I'm going on 3 months waiting for my setup to come, which he said was going to be shipped 4 weeks ago. Haven't heard from him since, he doesn't answer any emails and he doesn't answer his phone. This is getting ridiculous.

I was actually thingking the same thing. If there is anybody live close to San Marcos and willing to drive up there that will be great. I don't mind chip in to compensate for the travel expenses too. So anybody live in South Cali willing to travel?

well, thats possibly what has happened. We all sent him stuff to get retrofit's done, and its been up to 3-4 months since the stuff was sent. Haven't heard from him in about a month. We wanna know wtf is the deal

that's crazy....gosh...i feel bad about it...he should at least inform his customers/fellow 7thgen members about the status on the work...now, i just need someone to back me up just in case cause i really wanna help the guys who got scammed. hopefully he could explain his side soon.

Couldn't agree more. I don't care if he needs more time to get it done, but he just never response back no matter through email or voice mail.
So yeah, we need to work on some plan here. If we can find another person from San Diego to back you up this will be great.
