Well not as good as I had hoped. I had several problems

1) I couldn't seem to get any real respectable reation times
2) I kept breaking traction at the line
3) I kept breaking traction with my shifts

So I have some improving to do, but this was only my 3rd time to the track ever and first with the Roush.

So here are the numbers from my best run:

Yeah I know...But I was getting too focused on not going up in smoke...Yeah 300hp seems to make tires wanna break loose in nothing flat....A couple more times and hopefully I can get down to some respectable numbers

feather the clutch and you will be good. I ran 16.015 in my si at SIR the worlds shittiest track...ran a 2.455 60 ft

i may go back on Friday (OR maybe and that is a big maybe speedworld on saturday) to see if I can get a little better. If I can get my 60' down under 2.2 even 2.1 I should gold....

PS...I agree that track is shitty, I ran there in my 03 Ex back when I had her and couldn't get lower than 16.6, it was crap....

So, after my not-so-great first attempt at getting 3400lbs to barrel down the track at a respectable speed and time, I decided to go to Firebird again and see if I can't do something about those starts....So I head down there and get there about 6:20, get through tech and am sitting around by 6:40....Figure cool 20-30 mins of bsing and then it is off to the staging lanes...well I go to the staging lanes it is now 7:15 and nobody is racing....WTF...seems there was an electrical problem caused by a lightening strike earlier in the week...WHY they did not get it fixed earlier I will never no...well about 8 or so they finally decide to call it a night....NO RACING...WTF.....DAMMIT....so that was a huge waste of my night.....oh well what can you do besides bitch.....
