I'm not sure what your bugget is but as for myself, I don't mind spending a little extra for quality so that in the long run I don't regret it. I'm not an expert in audio but I can definitely recommend the 300/4 JL amp. Not the most powerful, but the quality sound is great.

the watts per channel is actually 18-22rms.....the 50 is just the max output. A 100 watt rms amp shout be fine for 2 speakers.

50 watts a channel haha try maybe 15-20. you look at rms watts not peak. look at the speaker rms what they can handle, then amp them with at least 1/2 that. ex. i have infinity ref max power 60w and i have a 4 ch amp thats 30wx4.

well the amp you have right now could only power 2 speakers or a single sub, you couldn't power all four with it. The Rockford 4004 is a good amp, I have the older model which is a 400X (4 channel) and a 201S (2 channel) powering my sub. Just a word of advice tho, don't go with an amp by how it looks. Chances are if your just using it commercially you'll mount the amp on the sub box and won't even see it. Check out JL, they make good stuff too.

Well I want a sub that looks the same because i have built a floor for my trunk, i have mounted my amp in front of the sub closer to the opening sunk into the floor. So if i get another amp i want to mount close to that one thus the reason i want them to look similar, they are going to be the focal point of my trunk.

So do you guys think that the Rockford 4004 will blow my speakers
