more hp and more mpg o my!
wow guys 33% better mileage and 20hp more omg everyone should have this. even the name is cool. and if you dont believe me just look at those performance charts and business people talking. it looks so sweet installed in the intake piping. check this out and cheap too.

Apparently the guy selling the gas saver thing is making a killing..
I count 23 sells in one day
$13.98 x 23 = $321.54
Not bad for a day prolly cost him next to nothing to get it made.
Stupidity is a gold mine.

scrap metal and a resistor.
I actually like these auctions. Keeps the smart people powerful over the dumb people. Everything in the universe is ok.

OMFG!!! I've been searching for this for like a year, man! How did you find these? OMFG!!! THANKS!!!

One question, though. How the heck does that 'performance chip' work? Do you glue it to the ECU or something? And yes, glue, not a typo.
... right. And how is a resistor (that most probaboly does nothing... and I mean this one in particular) supposed to damage my engine? Let me know diskreet, cuz I am oh-so lost.

The manufacturer of the BLACK ICE chip offers a full vehicle protection warranty against damage to the ECU and engine when the chip is installed and used properly.

And, btw, this made me laugh...
Picture one: a nice night driving picture with a graph on it.
Picture two: two nice fellas with contruction hats.
Picture three: a picture of the desk where this guy converts piece of scrap aluminum into a round piece of scrap aluminum (with teeth) located in "SAVE GAS, United States".

Thanks for the laugh, gbox.
+repped!

yes it can damage your car. the ecu will advance timing and dump more fuel in the engine, even tho there is not enough air to mix with it. so you get more carbon deposits and waste gas. so over time it will have an effect on the engine, but theres no way to say the resistor caused it.
reasons why the metal piece is retarded: 1. it blocks airflow, look how much space it takes up. 2. pieces can break off and go flying into your manifold. 3. on older muscle cars, swirling the air does help mix with fuel, however this is supposed to be done AFTER the intake. turbulent air moves slower. and most intake already have rough surface above the throttle body for this effect. also the intake head ports are rough on our head.

gearbox cleared it up for me ramcosca. From an EE point of view the ECU is gettin lower voltages from the air sensor in the intake. This makes it give more fuel, as it thinks there is more air.
So you get worse gas mileage, and wear a tiny bit more on the engine.
