Its going to be a 15'' 2006 Model Kicker L7 in a 2.5 cubic square feet fiberglass enclosure. The whole trunk is going to be fiberglassed, and you wont be able to see the air compressor/tank/wiring because the fiberglass will be covering all that. Im putting that 15'' LCD Acer screen on the trunk lid... well im trying too, its about 1 inch too big. Im still debating whether to hide the amps or not. Clarion 640.4 and havent decided what to power the Kicker with. im going for more SQ then SPL. post some feedback and idea's plz (This was day 1 of the project)

I have 2 12" Kicker L7's the 05 model and Im usein a Kicker 1200 Watt Mono Class D amp.. Works fine loud as ***!! sometime its 2 loud.. i also have a huge ported box

im planning on doing this with the trunk lid in full fiberglass. Those arms will be coming out and holding the TV, its kinda hard to explain wut im trying to achieve lol but thats the best image i can think of. tell me what you guys tnhk i should change or add

Maybe try to find another way to mount the screen. Loose the arms, it'll make it look real cluttered with the arms sticking out of it. Unless I'm just misinterpreting the drawing. Maybe try to fabricate your own mount. I'm really anxious to see what this will look like.

i didnt like how the Tv's were coming along because i found it hard to make the resin stick to the plastic shroud for the tv, so i built my own shroud made of wood.

Looking good, but did your car have sex with a bass boat? Sorry, I had to. Keep us updated. A few questions though, as it might just be the pics, but did you measure your side supports to hold the sub ring in place, or were they assembled and eyeballed? It looks to be a tad off and out of square, especially with 3 braces on one side, and two on the other. 2. How are you going to fix your panel warpage at the low side of the woofer ring(actually a square, but you get the drift)? The far side doesn't appear to even be attached to the ring. Did you put any resin on the pieces of glass mat that are on the inside, cause they look a tad unsaturated from the pics. Again, it's probably just the pics, but I figured I'd ask.

yea i put lots of resin, i gotta soak up the edges more. I did measure the pic makes it look off but its pretty center. i measured frm the sides and from the center trunk lock..

i really wanna do this too, see these bars in this setup, i like that idea a lot

looks like you know what your doing with glass work.. i just started doing stuff like that.. my amp rack and gonna glass the rear deck this winter cause it rattles way to much, looks good so far though!

heres an update, i finished the tvs and got them painted. I just gotta take the rear deck out and mould the tv's on instead of having them sitting there, im not feelign the little gap there...
