Japanese Police Cars

If any of you ever wondered what the Japanese equivalent of the B4C Camaro cop car or Charger cruiser was, these photos should give you a hint. Shown above is some two-tone Subaru and below is a Skyline that they call ‘Godzilla.’

180 kph = 111.846815 mph
That would be absurd if they cant do 111 in any car. Our civics can do that.

So I hope thats just some ricer BS, if not they are pitiful policemen.

Italian Gallardo is about as nice as it gets. But from what I have heard speeding tickets are pretty rare in Italy. They dont care too much about speeding. Its more the wreckless driving and stupid violations that land people tickets.

This is all from what I have heard both through media (such as Top Gear and other european media outlets) and friends (adults who grew up in romania, hungary, etc.)

Ok, Ok... I had to go over those about two times before I got it all. Your grammar and spelling sucks.

And it makes sense that they can't go over the speed limit. Japs are crazy.

I know here in Montreal (well...have been told by a few people) that a cop won't chase you after 180kmh because its considered too dangerous

I wouldn't doubt that in japan a cop won't go after you if your going over 180kmph, because yes most of thier cop cars are crap, just factory 4bangers who would be pushing it extremly hard trying to hit 110mph. not all the cop cars over there are skyline's and Sti's. That would be like saying most of the cop cars over here are corvettes or something. I know here in st.louis most of the city cop cars are the 3.8 impallas, with the ocasional caprice, crown vic, and even lumina

The only modified cars are the interceptors and most of those are supercharged LT1 caprice's, and then the undercover camaro's.

We have a lot of those here. Aswell as intrepid cops and all of the cop supervisors drive around in Freestars (yes the van, I have no idea why) in full police package. I don't think we have camaros, corvettes, vipers, mustangs etc. The cop cars are crown vics/imapals/freestars/sometimes intrepids. Most of our undercovers are civilian looking impalas and crown vics

there are all sorts of undercover cars... pretty much anything; you name it, there is probably one. i have heard of somewhat jazzed up civics and such as undercover units to bust the street races

In Southeast Michigan we've got Liberties, Tahoes, Durangos, Explorers, Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, Magnums, Impalas, Crown Vics, and 500's.

Then in Wayne county they just took out a task force to build (or put into service impounded) imports to catch street racers..

In Ft. Worth they've got an AWD Talon that's modded out, but it's in police colors. Mostly just for show, I believe, although it does run, and rather fast.

I read in an article, that in Japan the people who get pulled over are Americans. They come to the country thinking they canr ace anywhere, adn get pulled over, because Japan has an absurd amount of undercover policemen. I saw the article where they showed an R34, R33, NSX, and Supra, all part of undercover units. Basically, if I saw an R34 behind me flashign the red and blues, I'd probably crap my pants.
