For those of you who werent there are dont watch F1, there was a pretty big crash at the start in turn 1. Since the cars are safe, everyones okay. That took out 8 of the 22 in the first lap and in the end only 9 cars finished. I like David Coulthard comment after the race.

Yeah it was a nasty wreck. Thank god FIA is crazy about safety (I really appreciate this cause I would love to do racing for a living and I can appreciate the safety measures more than most)
Congrats to Ferrari, though! 1st and 2nd place.
Massa did spectacular there, so congrats to him. And Schumi seems to be back now as a real contender for the season. If schumi keeps up this kind of racing, and massa helps like he did there, Alonso is in for some really tense races.

Wow what a pile-up. I race a Ferrari 575 in a virtual league, every week, and the first few seconds of the race are always the most difficult, since everyone is packed together and the wrecks are always spectacular. If you survive T1, you've already done a good portion of the race.


A lot of **** can actually happen : tyres not up to operating temperature, an overly aggressive driver braking too late who forgets about drafting, etc...

lol I have trouble with Turn 10. But thats on 1 specific track, and actually I have gotten much much better on it (in forza that is)
