50-State Legality
We submit every Cold Air system we make to the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) to achieve an executive order verifying that they are 50-state legal. Every AEM Cold Air is either C.A.R.B. exempt or pending C.A.R.B. exemption.

Reinforced TIG-Welded Brackets
On systems that have long inlets or when the bracket carries an unusual amount of stress, AEM incorporates a load distribution flange (plinth) that spreads the load across the surface of the intake pipe, instead of directly on the bracket welds, which could cause failure. We also TIG weld all of the brackets and fittings for the best durability. Every AEM air induction system features the highest standards of construction; we even guarantee them for the life of your vehicle.



Short Ram
In most cases, AEM offers its Short Ram induction systems as an economical alternative to our Cold Air systems. However, during the development process, we found certain applications respond favorably to shorter inlet lengths over our longer Cold Air designs. We offer a Short Ram system only, since these are the best performing intakes for some vehicles. We perform extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, which allows our Short Ram systems to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible.

Every intake system AEM manufactures includes a complete hardware kit and comprehensive installation instructions. We hate going to the shop in the middle of an installation as much as you do, so we make sure to include everything you need.

Soft Mounts
Soft Mounts Flex With Your Engine (so your bracket doesnt)
AEM has used soft mounts since it conceived the Cold Air back in 1995. In addition to guaranteeing a perfect fit, our soft mounts provide a flexible pivot point for the intake where it mounts to the chassis to prevent added stress on the mounting bracket, which could cause it to break.


V2
V2 - The Most Powerful Air Induction System Available
On a dyno graph, the area under the power band (or power curve) represents the amount of effort that an engine is producing. The larger the overall area under the curve, the more power your engine is making. The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber design that creates more power under the curve than any other intake system on the market. Our V2 design is patent pending.

ya you'll need an AEM filter it will mess up the performance of the v2 if you were to put a different filter on it. what car is the v2 on so i can look up the right size filter for you. Also leave the state and country you want the shipping quote for i'm unable to look up quotes with just the zip. thank you

I don't get the shipping system of the United States. For somethings, we are counted as state and shipping is normal. For some, we have to pay like $15 extra or something like that (same thing goes for HI and AL)... but, damn. Why the **** $90?

Can I get a quote on the dryflow synthetic filter for an 02 civic ex. I looked up the part # 21-204DK shipped to 92692. Im pretty sure I can get this same part on ebay for 60-70 shipped so if you cant hook up a good deal, thanks for trying.
