Aftermarket Tachometer on DX 05
Aftermarket Tachometer on DX 05
I just bought an aftermarket tachometer at Kragen. I tap the green wire(rpm) straight to the ECU rpm wire. I just found out that doing 80 miles/hr, I am only revving 3200-3300 rpms instead of 3500rpm. Is the tachometer right? Coz my friends hondas do 3500 rpm doing 80 miles/hr. I'm just wondering if my tachometer is reading accurately.
i put a tach on my old lincoln and i believe u need to tell the tach how many cylinders does the engine have.
i have a question, can u put a cluster guage from civic lx in a dx so i can have a tach and stock look.

well i nosed around on google. all the posts i read say its a straight hook up and nothing else has to be changed. will find out when i change it i guess. now i need to see if i can just swap the tach so i do not have to get it reprogrammed to read the right mielage
