Tightening up the steering

I was wanting to know if there was anyway to tighten up the steering? You know, make the wheel more responsive to small turns.

hmm never thought of that. would prolly work, but would rather find a way to do it and keep the power steering.

Easy. X-brace, strut bar, and energy suspension bushings everywhere.
The whole front end flexes too much stock. I haven't done the bushings yet, but the X-brace and strut bar made a BIG difference in the steering as well.
Well, it's a no-brainer that stiffening the civic really makes the biggest bang for the buck difference. Better tires, of course, are a must if you have stock.
Other than that, the only way to make the wheel more responsive would be a different gear ratio steering rack.

I did put all energy suspension bushings into my truck..... awesome.
The civic is next.

Well, I just looked at your Cardomain page... Not a fan of the tail lights, but the car looks great! I'd try an X-brace first. (cheapest next mod)

i might try an xbrace sometime. what about ways to make the steering wheel harder to turn? not as hard as no ps, something inbetween instead of being able to turn with my pinkey.

The bushings for my truck ran about $120 off ebay... no clue on the civic till I actually order them.

Gearbox, the only way is to use a bigger diameter pulley on the PS pump to slow it down, or modify the pressure regulator in the pump to give less boost.
