40 or 35 on 18's hey y'all, i want to get some opinion on which one is better for my car..
I have a 02 civic sedan, 1.5 inch dropped on 17 inch rims (215/40/17)..
Im planning to upgrade to 18's with 215/40/18 on them.
Some said that i should put 35's instead of 40's to avoid rubbing.
What would you suggest?

Rep Power: 288 35's would most likely not rub at all, and 40's may or maynot rub depending on your setup.
I have 205/45/17's, and most people said it wouldn't rub at all. My tires were rubbing, but only in the rear. It only rubbed when going over certain bumps on the road. if I were you, I'd probably stick with 35's. There will be more wheel gap, but you mostly likely won't rub at all.
