Nitrous Track Car

Well last night was my second night being home from school so I thought I would take my car to the track to see how my drag radials and new Ingalls engine damper would improve my times. Also, I was challenged by a kid in my town that just turboed his 2000 Si with a greddy turbo kit and wanted to run me Last time I ran at the track with the radials, I pulled a 14.1 with a 2.3 60 foot time and having the weather being in the upper 60's with no humidity. However, the problem tonight was that it was in the upper 70's to low 80's with very high humidity . Heres some pics of car before going to track with my newly painted $40 rims.

Long story short about the turbo Si race was that I launched the car (bogged it) haha and forgot the hit the button in first gear. I hit it in 2nd gear and ran a 14.6 to the Si's 14.8. I had a 0.08x reaction time and his 2.5 60 foot didn't help him much. Just goes to show you that all you nitrous guys need to hit the button in first gear to run the best possible times. Heres some snapshots my girlfriend took (sorry for the quality) and the first pic is an old one that I thought is cool so I threw it in too.

My last run of the night I got challenged by a 240sx that was turboed. It was a good race from the start but I slaughtered him at the start. He broke something or missed a gear or something but a win is a win. I launched it at like 4800 just dropping the clutch and the Bfg's hooked up good and I hit the button as soon as I got traction. Probably had a little too much wheelspin but I had no wheel hop whatsoever thanks to the Ingalls Damper. Felt like a 13 second run but was dissapointed to see that damn 14.1 again. I guess the humidty and temp killed the horsepower and just didnt' have enough to get that high 13 sec run. Heres the slip.

Just shows us nitrous guys can have fun at the track too.

Drag racing is all about getting the fastest... earliest. Cool though, and good luck with the ugly blue wheels!

I cannot thank you enough for that snapshot of blue wheels on an Inca Pearl. In fact, I'm repping you for it. Better then any photochop I could have done

EDIT: Must spread some around before giving it to scansel912

They are the 205/50/15 model size. I am worried if I go any smaller on the diameter, that I might have to shift into 5th gear at the end of my runs because I am close to redline at the finish line.
