Removing trim pieces on auto??
i did a search and no luck. Painting my trim pieces and cant get the trim piece that covers the PRNDD2 out after removing the middle plastic console and there doesnt seem to be anything holding it.
Also if anyone knows how to remove the parking brake **** trim piece? Or should i just tape up and spray away?
Any help would be appreciated!

you need to take the center console out because the PRNDD2 panel is screwed to the console underneath. this is the DIY -

Take out the center console as per that DIY. Then the trim piece that has the PRNDD32 on it is just clipped onto the shifter assembly. Get a flat head screwdriver and pry gently till it pops off. It does take a good amount of force though.
