Need to Buy: 01-03 Hood
Silver preferred, Carbon Fiber if needed, black if nothing else.
Surely someone has a hood for their car around, right?
Trades considered, for Bodykit, header, high flow cat, or anything else I have.

Rep Power: 0 what happened to your hood? If no one has a hood on the site try going to rancho cordova they should have one if you get really desperate.

I was cruising down the freeway, 70 mph rougly, and the hook broke from it's latch and flew up onto my windshield. *WHAM*, and I'm covered in broken glass, can't see out the front, can't see my rearview (knocked off by the broken hood/windshield), so I manage to pull over to the side. Fun eh?
I'll try to get some pics. But in any case, I need a new windshield and a new hood. I'm just glad everyone in the car was okay....

Rep Power: 0 Rancho Cordova has an area with alot of auto salvage yards some are honda/ acura specific like HAP there is the place I got my auto-manual swap its called redline parts it has connections with a seconds shop with a lot of 7thgen parts like motors and trannys sometimes they have hoods and other parts to. Talk to chris (cg95660) about the front windshield he found a good place that for labor and a front windshield was around $300.

roof wasn't damaged? most pics i've seen from people who forgot to latch their hoods/put hoodpins in, the roof was dented as well. guess you got lucky!

Rep Power: 490 Roof was dented very minorly, hardly noticible. That's the least of my worries though.
Yeah, the hood latch just... boom, gone. No clue what happened. That's life though. Found a mobile windshield installer, quoted at $290, now I just need a hood.
